See what San Diego State Men’s Basketball Team 2025-2026 is up to:

The 2025–26 San Diego State Aztecs men’s basketball team, led by head coach Brian Dutcher in his eighth season, continued their tradition of tough, defensive-minded play. Finishing 21–10 overall and 14–6 in the Mountain West Conference, the Aztecs earned an NCAA Tournament berth as an 11-seed but fell to North Carolina in the First Four. Standout players included sophomore guard Miles Byrd and 7-foot redshirt freshman Magoon Gwath, who was named both Mountain West Defensive Player and Freshman of the Year. With key transfers and returning talent, SDSU remained a formidable presence in their penultimate season in the Mountain West.
