“I am such an advocate of the work that Helen Woodward Animal Center does with so many animals! We recently adopted a puppy that sadly had experienced some abuse and neglect and he has gone through the greatest transformation imaginable. Our pup, Gus, has transformed our family and become such a wonderful addition. I encourage anyone who is capable and willing to get involved and get a new companion to enjoy some unconditional love.”
Background: NBA 9 years – 4 as a coach. Coach at Old Dominion, University of Montana, University of Utah, Milwaukee Bucks and NJ Nets. Played for Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Lakers. Larry is married to Jan Krystowiak and they are puppy fosters for Helen Woodward Animal Center and adopted their last foster, Gus. They have 5 children who are all student athletes at various educational institutions. Jan also volunteers at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Adoptions Medical Department.
