Evan Longoria
“Our dogs are our teammates and our best friends. They never fail to make us smile and brighten our day. On Remember Me Thursday®, and every day, let’s encourage others to adopt and give these worthy pets new homes.”
Evan Longoria is a professional baseball player, three-time All Star, three-time Gold Glove winner, and third baseman for the San Francisco Giants. Previously, he played ten seasons as the Tampa Bay Rays’ all-time leader in several offensive categories, including home runs, RBI, extra-base hits and games played. Evan and his wife, Jaime, adopted their dog Lucy, a Chihuahua and Poodle mix, from Pet Pal Animal Shelter. Wherever the Longoria family is located, they lend a hand to pets in need. Knowing that older dogs still have a lot of love left to give, they are helping the San Francisco-based organization Muttville to bring attention to senior dog adoption.
