See what Best Boy Brodie is up to:
“Every pet deserves to experience a happy, loving home, and that’s why rescues are so important. So many pets get discarded and end up living as strays while nearly starving to death. They’ll eventually succumb to extreme weather or some sort of accident that could have been completely preventable. The lucky ones get saved and will live out the rest of their years in a shelter, and the even luckier ones will get adopted and finally be a part of a family who loves them dearly! Making the choice to support a rescue shelter or to adopt a rescue animal is basically making the choice to save a life!”
My name is Amanda Richter and I’m Best Boy Brodie’s mom! Brodie’s a two year old German Shepherd/Border Collie rescue pup from Canada. He was born in a shelter to a 10 month old stray. When he was just 13 days old his mom bit him on the face and crushed his skull, which is why he has the unique look that he does. He was adopted by a family but returned to the rescue when he was 7 months old. My boyfriend Brad and I adopted Brodie shortly after and the rest is history! Adopting him has not only made his life better, but ours too! He’s a little ray of sunshine in our lives and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
